HISTORY
OF THE SPARKS
The
Sparks chapter was established on July 26, 2003. This chapter was
created to serve as a stepping-stone for members of the Phoenix Sorority,
not only to rededicate themselves, but also to move onto higher levels
of membership. The charter line of Sparks consists of thirteen (13)
strong Phoenix Sorority sisters:

Mission
To
continue the transition from young adulthood to womanhood among sisters
of the Phoenix Sorority through; Organization, Education, Strength, and
Creativity
Purposes:
To relive and uphold the principles, ideals, and mission of the Phoenix
Sorority.
To ensure a true and enduring bond of sisterhood among its members.
To serve, support, and create various programs within the community, while
continuing to uphold the sororitys name at all times.
Eligibility
Any member of the undergraduate chapter of the Phoenix Sorority, who is
in good standing, has been an active member for at least 3 years and is
at least eighteen (18) years of age, is eligible for membership in the
Sparks chapter.
Any member of the graduate chapter of the Phoenix Sorority is eligible
for Sparks membership upon completion of an active one year probationary
period.
